Guest KC Guests Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 We need to get more threads pointed towards Vic's ass.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 This is the going to the game thread. Does Vic intend to settle his ass into a stadium seat anytime soon?Howzhtat KC?
Guest KC Guests Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Discussion of getting together on 7/8 kinda evaporated after it turned intoa double-header but me and three other cpfr's will be there. Anyone going and wanting our coordinates let me know via pm or something. If there'sa group, maybe we can all meet for a nectar of the gods or two during "half-time" or whatever.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 It's somewhat last-minute, but I have two extra tickets for Sunday's game against the Phillies. Probably worth nothing that the game has been moved to the national TV game (and an 8:05 start). I unfortunately will be unable to attend (will be seeing the Mariners-As at Safeco that afternoon).Anyway, they're Upper Box, 738B (third row from the front). Sunday 8/6.Face Value on the tickets is $29/each. Will happily sell for a CPF discount of $40.Emails to g_radecki [[AT SYMBOL]] yahoo [[DOT]] com
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Going Sunday night, hopefully some pics to add to that Offense jpeg file I had going. Have to remove Nady from that piece...Ah well...
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 I'll be at the game in Philly on Wednesday - will any other Crane Poolers be there?
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Friday and Sunday, which figures. No Pedro (assuming he's not put on the DL), no '86 celebration.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Will be at the celebration Sat night.
Guest KC Guests Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I'm going with a group on Saturday, if ya wanna come by and say hello SJRlmk here and I'll PM our coordinates.

seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 That would have to be a really tiny picture.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 September 16 and 17 in Pittsburgh. I know, they'll have clinched by then but I've wanted to see PNC for a while now and the timing worked out well.Couple thoughts:1. Wow, tickets are easy to obtain. Even for sold-out games, like the Saturday one (it's Jack Wilson bobblehead night). 2. The Pirates, like the Mets, have a "ticket exchange" where season ticket holders can sell their extras online through the Pirates website. Here's the good part: PA law restricts selling them for above face. You pay the Pirates surcharge, but it's not too bad (a % of the ticket price). Enter seats approx. 8 rows behind the Mets dugout.3. You can get Outback Steakhouse to take to your seat -- and they sell Primanti Bros. sandwiches in the stadium. That alone might be worth the trip.
Guest cooby Guests Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 We were going to go to that Sunday game, now we're not (but not because of Gwreck)
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 You can also sit down at the Outback Steakhouse with seats that overlook the game.Which raises an interesting question - do you stand for the National Anthem from your dinner table?Have fun!
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Mets vs Dodgers a week from this afternoon.Love nothing more than to sweep them and stop them from making the postseason!HAHAHAHAHA!MWAHAHAHA!BEAT LA! BEAT LA!...ehem... Anyone know off hand if Maddux is scheduled that weekend? Love to see that master one more time before he calls it a career
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Ahem. RMPL.(He's scheduled for Saturday)
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Sept 24th, last home game of the regular season before they give out "fandinis" and ruin the whole thing.i'm hoping to pass off the wife as a 14-y/o so i can get me a banco popular helmet bank, but i don't htink it'll work.section 33, mezzanine boxes
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 i think its a mets-themed homer hanky. i fear it could be something even lamer.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I don't know either, so I did an image search. All I found was this guy:And four instances of this photo:
Zach Thornton Syracuse Mets - AAA LHP On Sunday, the southpaw tossed five shutout innings as the bulk pitcher. He gave up 2 hits, walked 2 and had 5 strikeouts. Explore Zach Thornton News >
