duan Old-Timey Member Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 hey haven't really been around the forum much - but if there's anyone who drops out OR an extra place becomes available I'd be delighted to join

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 All due respect to your brothers, but I thought this was to be a league for CranePoolers._____________This post had the designation 95)Tim Teufel. He signed a card for me once.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted December 21, 2005 Author Posted December 21, 2005 yeah sorry Zvon, no offense to your brothers but its full as is...if everyone invited one person we'd be over 40!
willpie Old-Timey Member Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Can I be an alternate?I've never done the fantasy thing before, so you might benefit from having me in the league. I'm just sayin'.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted February 7, 2006 Author Posted February 7, 2006 Cooby has already offered up her spot, Duan was next, if he doesn't want it you are in.
DocTee Old-Timey Member Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 I think I should withdraw . I'll be out of the country for all of July and August, with little internet connectivity. While NYMR (I believe) suggested I put my team on autopilot, I think that ruins something of the competition-- trades, roster moves, trash talking, accustaions of collusion, etc. Sorry for the late notice-- I'm sure it won't be a problem finding a replacement. Cheers,
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted February 8, 2006 Author Posted February 8, 2006 WILLPIE, you're in if you want it.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2006 Author Posted February 19, 2006 i have no problem stopping at 18 people but if any additional members of the board want to join now is the time to speak... i think we've saved Duan's spot long enough (i private messaged him almost 3 weeks ago with no responce)
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 So its gonna be 18 teams? Is that official?
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2006 Author Posted March 14, 2006 those spots are open to board members until the draft but i'm happy with 18.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Can I politely back out of my committment?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 isnt an even number of teams required?
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 It would be helpful under the gay head to head scoring system, but by no means required.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted March 17, 2006 Author Posted March 17, 2006 correct. in a rotisserie or points based system you don't need an even number.
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 Guys -- I think I'm going to withdraw, and let someone younger and smarter have my spot. I'd love to do it, but I know I'm not going to have time.
