I don't get the position player pitching decision. The Nats went from probably not winning this game to winning it being the equivalent of an inside straight paired with a lottery ticket.

Makes no sense. It was 11-6. Which is only a 4 run lead with the free runner. Hard, but not impossible. If the inning played out like it did, they would have had the tying run on deck.

The only thing that kept me from betting the farm on Kimbrel was that he finished the game before my bookie picked up the phone.
