seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Love how the umpires don't even know the rule. FFS.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Kimbrel has done a marathon worth of warming up. Let's send him to the shower and let Duarte finish it.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I don't get the position player pitching decision. The Nats went from probably not winning this game to winning it being the equivalent of an inside straight paired with a lottery ticket.

Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Kimbrell is doing his best to send this to the 13th inning.

Which is only a 4 run lead with the free runner. Hard, but not impossible. If the inning played out like it did, they would have had the tying run on deck.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Oh ,c'mon, Kimbrel gave up 2 hits and an unerned run with a 12 run lead. Let's not act as if this was us being forced to run a gauntlet. a response to earlier posts

The only thing that kept me from betting the farm on Kimbrel was that he finished the game before my bookie picked up the phone.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The Marlins win also, keeping the Mets out of the coveted 12th place spot. In the division, however, Washington, Miami, and Mets are all within a game and a half of each other. The 12th-inning run barrage also closes the Mets' run differential on the season to -7.
