ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago They absolutely have to beat these "lesser" teams to get back into Raley has let at least three games get away but y'all seem to love him
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Raley has been, far and away, our best reliever. I'm not sure what games you're watching.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago That was actually a can of RC Cola Weaver threw

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago This game is like yesterday where the (non) calls on the corners aren't wrong necessarily but NYM pitchers seem to get NONE of them to go their way.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Extra innings again , Weaver showing some balls
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago 17.5% of NYM games (10 of 57) have gone to extra innings this year. Record = 5-4 pending the results of this one.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Awful. This is going to be a bad loss.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago The double-play specter hadn't been haunting the Mets so much since the Francisco Alvarez injury, but clearly, it never fully goes away. Back to Weaver or on to Brazzy in the 10th? Or something crazier?
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Also. You can’t let Vientos run the bases here.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Let's say hello to our old friend, The Eleventh Inning!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Just now, Centerfield said: Also. You can’t let Vientos run the bases here. So ... Brujan to run and Baty to 1st? And it looks like that's the play.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago So, now that the lead is back, the bullpen is pretty burned. Does this Kimbrel guy have any experience closing?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago You have to catch that (Semien's fly to the LF corner) if you're the Nats OF, even if it's going foul. Yeah the Mets take the lead but, with two outs/none on, you've virtually eliminated the two run inning which is what you want to do as the home team.
