Short of the list:

Josh Bell, 11

Andrew McCutchen, 9

Max Muncy, 9

Wilson Contreras, 4

Bonus answer

Lindor is correct. He only played 6 games against the Mets in his 6 years in Cleveland, without any homers.

Lindor has 15 more career homers than Alonso (for now).

Stanton, Yellich, Ozuna. What an outfield that the Marlins were never going to keep together.

Ozzie Albies has been doing it in division for the better part of a decade. Imma go Albies.

They had Realmuto on that team too. At the 2016 trade deadline they were 9 games over .500, 4 back in the division and led the Mets by 2.5 for the wild card. Their two trade deadline acquisitions (Fernando Rodney, Andrew Cashner) both performed badly, and then Jose Fernandez killed himself in the boating accident in September.

And then the next year, those 4 hitters were even better, but with no upgrades to the pitching the results were no better.

Since I'm coming in late, I'm assuming all the easy answers are off the board. I'll go with a guy that used to be good but isn't any more.

Kris Bryant.

I figured Ozzie has enough homers and has been in division long enough to be in there, but I expected him to be scraping the bottom of the list. Unexpected to see him at number four — outhomering glandular cases like Marcell Ozuna and Kyle Schwarber.

Kris Bryant.

A guy tells me that Kris Bryant was active in 2025, and my first instinct is to think I'm talking to a crazy person and to come up with a way to excuse myself.

Albies and Bryant were both on my radar, but I finally went with "nah" on both of them.

How about consistently annoying phormer Phillie Rhys Hoskins?

I too was very surprised by how high Albies (and Hoskins) are on the list

And you wonder why the committee is so mean to you.

Reordering the list by the percentage of HRs each hit off the Mets shows this, although an asterisk should go to Soto since he hit 43 of his 244 as a Met so his 19 of 201 would move him up to 9.45% so between Acuna and Hoskins.
