Drinking is the only way I can stand to watch this team.  If it wasn't for watching the development of Ewing, Benge, McLean, and Scott I likely wouldn't watch at all.

Also important. The Mets need to stop ruining pitchers.

Senga is toast.  The hitters seem to have adjusted to him.  Due to his lack of command, he is virtually always pitching behind in the count.  So hitters just need look fastball and ignore the splitter until you have 2 strikes.

Imma say Senga has a future.  Ninety eight (he hit 99 today) and that fork has been harnessed to great effect before (indeed, he was slower in his rookie year) and it can be harnessed again.

Soto on a groundout just peeling off toward the dugout before the play is made is just the very worst.
