Alex Escobar is correct. Your top rated prospect of 1999. Jose Reyes was not on the list. Jose would debut on the BA Top 10 in 2002.

George Harrison. Oh wait, wrong thread and I'm wrong poster.

I have a dozen Jorge Toca rookie cards if anyone needs them!

I don't have any guesses, but man so cool to see those names , Grant Roberts , Bobby V loved him, until something happened? Got in the doghouse if I recall

Yes, a quick search leads to an ESPN article and a typical Bobby V response , Mark Corey was the other player

I guarantee you no one was in uniform and smoking marijuana, unless they were running around with a whole lot of Visine in their eyes,'' manager Bobby Valentine said. "I grew up in the '60s. I think I could tell by looking in a guys' eyes if he was smoking dope.''

Jason Tyner.

And I should have remembered Roberts. I wrote a song parody of Genie in a Bottle called Pee into the Bottle.

I'll take "Failed Mets Outfield Prospects" for $800, Ken.

Who was Juan LeBron?

Good guesses!

1. Alex Escobar, OF

2. Octavio Dotel

3. Grant Roberts

4. Jae Weong Seo

5. Terrence Long

6. Jorge Toca

7.

8. Juan LeBron

9. Jason Tyner

10.

I remember Jason Tyner being panned as the worst #1 pick ever. He was like 5'8" and 120 lbs. No power. I looked him up, and he ended up having an 8 year MLB career. I'm shocked you guys guessed Juan LeBron. Literally never heard of that guy.

Incorrect: Ty Wiggington, Jay Payton, Aaron Heilman.

I was surprised to see Jay Payton not on this list. He was pretty well regarded, and called up in 2000.
