Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Mets are chasing everything. Lineup looks lost. JD shouldn't play again.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Well, that's 73 pitches. It would help if Marvin Hudson wasn't giving him that called strike off the plate away.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Understood. But JD has been swinging and missing at that pitch for two months now. Enough is enough.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Ok. Everyone change something. Sit someplace else. Change clothes. We need new vibes.

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Hey, brisket is back at Chipotle!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 I like how the batter goes back to the bench, pulls out a tablet, and examines his at-bat, trying to make sure he's maximizing his opportunities. And the pitcher sits down between innings and checks out his sequences, makes sure he's optimizing his pitches. And the home plate ump stands there between innings, just thinking about the great job he's doing.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 It can only be a good thing that Beuhler is out

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 So many walks. Eventually the Mets pitchers will figure out this lineup won't chase. Hopefully before it's too late.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Garrett cleans up the mess.

metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Alright, the ball CAN be put over the fence. Let's go out there and do it for ourselves, Dangit!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Handling Shohei & Mookie but getting done in by Tommy freakin' Edman and Kike
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Btw. Nimmo needs to DH. You can't run him out there when he looks this bad. Mendy needs to be smart here.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 No way JD should hit here.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Tempted to go to Winnie Winkle here.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Just doesn't look like they have it tonight.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Sometimes it's what you do with two outs and we ain't done shyeeet tonight.
