That inning was a hoax.

There are MOUNTAINS of evidence saying that Braves stole that inning.

I refuse to concede the lead.

They're in the right state for that claim.

Take a lead and have runners on 1st & 3rd w/none outs ... followed by six straight batters being retired without a ball leaving the infield.

By the time this game is over, Riley will have received an ESPY for letting a ball go foul.

This is a 1 run game.

May gets Swanson and then I think they go to Peterson. (Or just to Lugo for the 5th).

I know complaining about the ESPN guys is old had but I'm convinced that Eduardo Perez does not have a triple digit IQ.

Do you leave Vogelbear in to face the lefty fresh out of the pen?

Has anyone kept track of how many outs the Mets have made to the

warning track this series? A yard or so from the warning track? Seems

like it's non-stop.

(I know it's not as sexy as launch angle and exit velocity but just chiming in)

I'll give ESPN this: not only have they put aside their split-screen/live-mic/let's-do-anything-but-show-the-game antics, but they've even shelved the constant crawl for the night.

Usually the crawl only disappears during games they care about while sports like baseball are treated as fodder for them to advertise what else is going on, particularly if it's

going to be on their network.

It's like, for one night only, they elevated MLB to major league status and are therefore sparing us the WNBA scores, college football injury reports, latest Tom/Giselle marriage

rumors, and all the other tripe that we specifically tuned in NOT to see.

Watching a game on a full screen ... what a concept!!

Good point, FK. They still suck but you're right about the welcome absence of the crawl which would have NBA exhibition scores.

Coney is a great improvement over Smoltz.

My farts are great improvements over Smoltz... and we hope to hear him through the WS as F*x has the NL playoff games and the WS (after the Wild Cards--BTW, one of ESPNs 4 WC TV teams is Kay & A. Rodriguez).

Are we all getting the same ads? Such as legerzipro?

It is mind boggling the scoring opportunities the Mets have wasted. They have 9 hits (2 HR) & 1 walk, that they somehow minimally converted into for 3 runs.

On the other hand, the Braves seem to capitalize on every chance to score. They have 3 hits (1 HR) & 3 walks that they converted into 4 runs.

Timely hitting appears to be a major problem. That and the bottom third of the line up just aren't producing.
