The Mets go for the sweep starting at 12:05 PM on Peacock. The Mets have not faced Daniel Castano (LHP) this season while David Peterson pitched 6 shutout innings against MIA and got the win last Monday afternoon.

If you're not familiar with Peacock, it has the worst interface of any streaming service. It has some good original programming, including "We Are Lady Parts" and "Girls5Eva".

So now is probably the best time to ask our out of town fans:

My MLB access to the radio broadcasts is messed up through the MLB app. It keeps wanting to play the previous day's game rather than the live one. I haven't investigated too much since I am also a SIRIUS subscriber, so I can get the radio action from them. But in the car, I only get the home feed (the MIA guys are not great). Is anyone else having this problem? I'll figure it out without giving Peacock any dough, but the MLB app has been like this for several days. Weirdness.

Yah I only have Sirius XM for my non-televised and auto time game consumption, no MLB access here.

I am predicting another 5-3 win, cause, why not

Correcting myself from a different thread: apparently this game is not free, and to see it requires signing up for a Peacock premium subscription. (The Friday Apple TV games are free).

This is offensive, MLB. Rob Manfred is bad for baseball.

Yeah, I was just signing on to report that my free Peacock now costs

$4.99/month... cork-smokin' crazy. Nice day for a radio game anyways,

so fuck 'em. And fuck MLB and mets.com. Big splash on home screen

about the Mets on Peacock and then a ten second pop-up ad. Like it's

a good thing.

I'd really like a seven-run win today.

Braves have been slowed from their torrid pace. They are the same 6-4 over their last 10 as the Mets. And that not only means no ground lost, but also that the hottest team in the league is ... the Mets ... if only nominally. But that's due to two wins that were only one swing from being losses. I'd like something more decisive. Greedy.

Two lefties today. Both have put up good numbers but have been kept on very short leashes, with Castano on a shorter leash even than Peterson.

No, NOW the credit card information pops up. Fuck them.

The funny thing is I think my cable provider DOES make Peacock available, but I can't find a button to search for that screen.

Yeah, they prompted me to use PayPal which I guess is my 'preferred'

Google Play payment choice. This is on a Verizon 'set-top' streaming device,

is there anything Alphabet doesn't have their mitts all over nowadays?

And now I just get a ding on my non-Verizon phone asking me to confirm

my wish to subscribe to Peacock via PayPal payment.

The whole world's gone nuts. I need to go outside, my indoor AM sucks bhmc.

That's how you score a run after a leadoff double. Too bad the Mets couldn't figure it out.

I don't give a flying f**k what Jazz Chisholm, Jr. has to say especially when the Mets are up. The camera work is awful, the announcers are interviewing each other. F Manfred for subjecting us to this garbage. OMG, now we're talking about his Grandma.

Radio booth reports they've been told that today's game has broken a

record for the most listeners streaming the game. Gee, I wonder why.

The first inning, 1st and 2d w/none out, and the 2d inning, 2d w/none out, are big as of now.

I guess Nick Plummer is the default choice in the pinch-running department. Tempting, but not an automatic.

Escobar shoulda escobunted.
