I'd also say BoC

My friends liked BoC, but I could never get into them. I saw them once on the "Black and Blue Tour" with Dio-era Sabbath.

Aerosmith was my third concert. We met Jimmy Crespo, who replaced Perry, at an in-store appearance in a stereo store. It was not well publicized, and I bet there were only two or three people there besides me and my two buddies. He was not pleased, but it did stay for a little bit and signed my copy of Night in the Ruts, which he ghost-played on for a song. I did see that "Rock in a Hard Place" tour. Had to go all the way to the Meadowlands, which was quite the adventure at the time.

Twisted Sister is a great American band. ZZ Top, too!

If asked for my favorite band I'd check if they meant band or just artist/singer. And if the answer was band then I wouldn't include the likes of Dylan.

So while I didn't start this topic, the qualifiers were band and American, thus rendering much of your original list invalid.

p.s., I'm not picking Aerosmith either

So no one's allowed to have Blind Faith or Derek & the Dominoes or the Traveling Wilburys as their favorite band because those bands only put out one studio album? Because if I have permission, put me down for the band that recorded Dylan's Bringing it all Back Home as one of my favorite bands.

Y'know, this Medina guy looks OK but, surprisingly, is neither funky nor cold.

Great, that diddy will be in my head all night...

I shut the game off in the eighth and was getting ready to call it an early night and I figured I'd check the score to be sure the game was over. Holy crap.

We missed most of this game because we were busy but picked it up when it was 7-3 in the 9th. Just in time for the good stuff.
