I tried to figure out who "TBD" might be, but the Mets have never had any player with those initials. So I have no idea who's starting for the Mets tomorrow.

Weather permitting, of course. The Weather Channel's hourly forecast as of now, on Opening Eve, has it raining pretty much through the 6 o'clock hour, which may mean that the game could be delayed by about three hours.

We'll see...

Yanx already called off their game vs BRS in Bronx for tomorrow. Forecast must really be bad since they usually only call off games that far in advance if they don't like the pitching match up.

I'm pretty sure Tylor Megill, opening camp as the #6 starter, if he indeed gets the ball tomorrow, would make him the Mets Opening Day pitcher with the least amount of juice since ... ever?

So yeah, it's not even particularly close. Even Al Jackson in 1964 went into his OD start with more notches on his belt.

It's going to be one of those things where it's the missing answer to a CPF quiz in like 2040, Greg is going to get it right, and we're all going to be like "PFFT Megill never started an Opening Day!"

Also, Andrew Brown was an OD left fielder?!

At least they'll be well fed. This is a great Brazilian barbecue place in DC.

Eduardo Escobar took the Mets, including staffers, to dinner at Fogo De Chao last night. Around 70 people were said to have attended.

Considering how Cole got lit up the last time he faced the Sox, they might try to postpone the entire series.

As long as he didn't take them all out for a Brazilian Wax then I'm OK with it.

For those outside of SNY territory who don't have mlb.tv:

Thursday: ESPN+

Friday: Apple+ (ONLY!) Melanie Newman and Chris Young (not the really tall one) are the announcers.

Saturday; MLBN

Sunday: MLBN.
