Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 A strange thing is that the Mets seem to now be in bed with multiple healthcare organizations — NY Presbyterian, Northwell Health (parent of Long Island Jewish and the Katz Women's Center), Catholic Health (at some level, I think), and The Hospital for Special Surgery (affiliated with NY-Pres, I think, but not under their umbrella).

The others may just be sponsors. No?Later
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Sponsors and beneficiaries, sure. All are professional relationships.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 HSS is a member of the NYP healthcare system, I know this as years ago my son's cardiologist sent us to HSS when we needed to see a spine specialist , although I think the main affiliation is with Weill Cornell, which is of course part of NYP
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 No problem. There's still plenty of room for more medical institution patches bigger than your head on the Msts uni. On the front. On the back. Under the Mets wordmark. Between the buttons. And over the ass. That's just for starters. Just, please, not in Phillies red.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 No sponsor on the Athletics' sleeves?

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 Among all the other issues, those patches look like they'd be uncomfortable to wear by making the sleeve stiff.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 No doubt. Also, nothing but the LA insignia on the Dodgers' sleeves.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 Much better. It would be better if it wasn't there, but if it has to be, this is much better than the original.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2023 Author Posted April 25, 2023 That was a genius way of getting us to take this affront.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 Not bad.Not too good, either.But not bad.I'd have to see the size.Later

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 Presumably into perpetuity, we'll now be able to identify any relevant photos as definitively coming from April 2023.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 New patch > old patch. It would be better if Presbyterian was spelled wrong, 'cause who the fuck looks at the ad patch anyways after once or twice glances.Who buys something because of baseball stadium ads? I don't.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 I'm really embarrassed about my basement filled wall-to-wall with Peerless Boilers.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 You should see all the Old Dominion trucks I've bought.

kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 I love Howie, but "tea proudly" is pretty god damn lame imho.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2023 Author Posted April 26, 2023 He didn't write that shit.I do like how Howie goes out of character and gets pumped up on Bigelow, "refuses to settle" when you know irl Hoeie would drink any tea that paid him.
