Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Man, that 2006 team broke my heart. I was just thinking about Aaron fucking Heilman and YFM this morning.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 That loss in 2006 wouldn't have been so bad if it had been followed up by a championship in 2007. And/or in 2008. But those two seasons made it even worse.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Yeah, in 2006 the team seemed so good that it felt like they would be contenders for years to come. When they failed to return to the playoffs in the ensuing years, it hurt more that they seemingly lost their one chance.
