The "forum member" clue finally clicked for me. The smiling Expo with the mustache is Steve Rogers.

A pair of clues on that guy: spent half a season as a Met and wore a fuzzy, well-trimmed goatee during this period, and I think, for most of his career. That caterpillar mustache wasn't his usual look.
