Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 They're sweeping this series. I have no doubt.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Ceetar is like the Rich Coutinho of this forum.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Author Posted June 17, 2019 A season-salvaging sweep would be nice. They're on the right track baby, they were born this way!Weather kinda iffy for entire series, like our bullpen needs to be taxed with possible rain delays.

Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 We've been a putrid road team so far and really cannot afford another bad trip.I guarantee it will be Mickey's last if so.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Cano in the three hole. Smith out of the lineup. Mickey's trying to get fired yo.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 I don't understand it at all. He's almost constantly in development mode or protective love mode, and doesn't seem to realize his continued Metly existence is based on putting on a display of what win mode might look like.He doesn't seem stupid. But that seems kind of stupid.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 If I were manager.1. McNeil 3B2. Davis RF3. Conforto CF4. Alonso 1B5. Smith LF6. Ramos C7. Cano 2B8. Rosario SS9. Wheeler PWe won't catch shit. But it's not like we're catching shit right now anyway. And we'll score some runs. And you know what? It's not my fault my team has 30 IF and no OF.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Interesting. Davis hasn't been tried in right yet. He's played 15 games there in the minors — 11 as recently as last year. He certainly has the arm for it, but Conforto in right has been one. of Mickey's lineup locks.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Trying to get fired up for this. Taint easyLGM

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 I understand Lagares' worth on defense but I'd rather see Gomez in CF to have a chance of getting a hit.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Hey, terrific at bat by Wheeler. Our new batting coach is right here in house.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 New sideline reporter Justine B. Ward?I be aroused. Hey, Steve Gelbs, take your time coming back.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Bad night to be listening on the boombox
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Props to Rosario for hustling out of the box there, he was thinking a double the while time. And it occurs to me that I never see guys doing that any more.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Wheels should hit, Davis should pitch
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Twice tonight I've watched a Wheeler plate-appearance and thought I was watching McNeil.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Ramos is fucking this team in every hole. And not in the awesome way.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Ramos and Rosario cost the team runs that inning. Meanwhile, Grandal is having a great season.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 SNY is not available on my Frontier Communications service, until they "re-negotiate the contract" (sez my not so friendly customer service person). He added, "It might be resolved by the end of the month."I'm not sure if that's good news or bad news.Later
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Author Posted June 17, 2019 Looks like rain on this phone thing.I dunno, it could pass.Field's getting muddy.Don't look at field, look at the screen on this 7" device.Of course, focus...
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2019 Author Posted June 17, 2019 Hard to imagine Wheeler is not going to get lit up after this silly fifteen minute stop in play.
