Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Second time tonight Nimmo watched a fastball right down the pipe for strike three.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 It's a shame the Mets get caught up in this service manipulation nonsense. We could use Alonso's production in Queens.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Alonso is like all torso. Little alligator arms and legs
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Has anyone noticed that Cano has sucked since opening day
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 This Blake Parker thinks he's Kimbrel without the heat?
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 (edited) I should have left the pause button on. Edited April 9, 2019 by Guest
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 This not bunting against the shift is going to drive me crazy for another year, isn't it?
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 deGrom: Shit night for me.Gsellman: I had bad luck!Avilan: one of those nights, manVargas: Hold my beer
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Ten runs down going into the bottom of the ninth. "Difficult, not impossible."
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Alonso takes a lot of practice swings.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 He takes swings that count, too.KABLAMMO.
LWFS Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Hey! McNeil AB without LOB!Still will take some doing.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Nimmo, on triple-deck, is now the tying run.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 POUND Rosario for swinging at the first pitch. Insane.Alonso now the tying run.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 fuck Rosario, use your head! take a pitch!

Ballz down the line should roll toward the corner.Every time a ball ricochets off the jut in front of the outfielder, I feel like they're playing at Yankee Stadium.I get that too. But I think it's unavoidable with the new seat positioning. Angling the seats down the line to face the pitcher means guys who didn't give up a week's pay don't have to spend the whole ballgame turning their heads to the side and looking past the guy sitting next to him.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 I like to think they can angle the seats without building the row out into the field to deprive me of the joy of ballz into the cornerz.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Just as ugly in person, friends. Plus, it was cold as fuck. What a miserable night. At least Blue Smoke was good.

A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 It's early and all, but the middle relievers are gawd-awful. Kimbrel isn't fixing Seth Lugo or Luis Avilan.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Kimbrel also isn't signing on to be the third choice among relievers.A large part of the reason he's still unemployed is that he went into this thing insisting on a six-year deal.I'm sure circumstances have caused him to rethink that somewhat but I doubt he's morphed all the way towards middle-man/single-year territory.
