Is it the stress of pitching, or the stress of throwing a lot of pitches in one day, or the stress of pitching too often? I have no idea. Fact is, guys get hurt, and he's going to be 34 in a few weeks. I don't know what the answer is.

I mean, Conforto could very easily sign with, for example, the Ducks or whatever, and keep playing in actual games. Guys get signed out of the Atlantic League all the time, and it's the best you'll get outside the affiliated minors.
