Odd move, but counting on Logan Verrett isn't a championship-level move for us, honestly. Had good flashes, but dude was 3-8, 5.20 last year. Best wishes in your new adventure, Logan.
I could see a team that needs a "veteran leadership" type guy taking a flier on Granderson if the Mets eat money. I like him a lot and I'd be sad to see him go, honestly.

While Wright's is front-loaded [20M; 20M; 15M; 12M] so the two will more or less balance themselves out over the next four seasons. 2017 Wright + Cespedes = 42.5 M 2018 = 49 M 2019 = 44.5 M 2020 = 41.5 M That's good, because in the 2017-18 offseason they'll be selling a lot of WORLD CHAMPS shirts.
Voted. Remember we have to post if we voted so we know a percentage of actual voters. Bagwell Bonds (yeah, I did it) Guerrero Martinez Raines Ramirez Rodriguez Stairs (he's not ACTUALLY a HOFer, and I know that. But he's one of my all-time favorites.) Walker Someone with a convincing case for Hoffman could swing my tenth vote, and so could someone for Jeff Kent even though I don't like him.
