It was only 3 to 1 when Megill came in to audition for a post-season roster spot instead of May. If Naquin had somehow singled and they lost 5 to 3 those 2 runs would have been the difference.

    A garbage performance in the biggest game of the year. Tomorrow is a MUST WIN and they have the right guy on the mound but Buck can't be holding auditions any longer.

    Buck is holding auditions in the biggest game of the season, showing no sense of urgency or understanding of the importance of the game by letting Alvarez hit in the 7th and unproven Megill pitch the 7th. And why did he take Jake out after just 86 pitches?

    I have nothing against Cooper but I have no sympathy for another player getting hurt when the Mets have gotten hit more than any other team in recent history and one cost them Marte who they really miss.

    The Marlins hand movement after a cheap, lucky hit, is pretty obnoxious for a team 50 games or so under .500.
