    Playing "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" before every game is brilliant! We can leave it up to the artist as to whether they do the "White Album" version or the "Anthology" version but either way, it would be exciting.

    John Gibbons only came out to argue after his pitcher stared at the home plate umpire which lead to the catcher saying something which lead to Gibbons coming out to defend his players... the opposite of what Terry did after the absurd call against Lagares.

    We saw how bad Schwarber looked in the playoffs but two of the alleged smartest people in baseball, Epstein and Maddon, put him back out there rather than be happy to have a mediocre defensive catcher who would have been the 2d best hitting catcher in the game.

    The Royals already have advance scouts following the Mets and given how smart the Royals think they are (per Verudcci's article in the current SI and Kurkjian's article at espn.com on that play in Game 5 of the WS), these are the smartest advance scouts in the history of baseball.

    I'm all for experimenting in Spring Training and for learning a new position but Yo won a Gold Glove (value: unclear but it's something) for his play in LF and Lagares won a GG for his play in CF. Today is the 2d game of the last 3 (Friday) where the two are starting in the opposite position. I can see why Yo is playing CF (because he will do so during the season when Conforto is in LF) but I'm not sure why Lagares is playing LF. Would Terry do this during the season or is it simply that Yo needs work in CF and it's Lagares's day to play so LF is open?
