    Not crazy in this respect.

    What a waste of time.

Brodie should be fired for the Familia contract alone: https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/new-york-mets/jeurys-familia-11524/https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/new-york-mets/jeurys-familia-11524/

It's confusion regarding the DH from today's BOS @ TB game and Angel Hernandez was involved: https://mlb.nbcsports.com/2019/07/24/red-sox-play-wednesday-afternoons-game-vs-rays-under-protest/https://mlb.nbcsports.com/2019/07/24/red-sox-play-wednesday-afternoons-game-vs-rays-under-protest/

From The Athletic, Michael Salfino: [bLOCKQUOTE]Jeff McNeil, has swung at 66.8% of pitches seen over the last 30 games, the highest in baseball and well over the average rate for the period of 48.1%.[/bLOCKQUOTE]

Damn, now I have to take down by Mariano Rivera Fathead.

F is for Familia and F him. Gsellman got out of the jam but one good inning is all that he's capable of this year. F the Orioles for not keeping Young Yaz in their farm system. F the hitters, all of them as none did anything beyond the solos. F Matz for giving up a key single to the opposing pitcher in his first AB. F Mickey for being a spineless, worthless, vapid, know-nothing, empty uniform. And, as always, F Brodie for putting this team together.

"barring an unlikely post-season appearance." Good one Gary!

Frazier is not helping his trade value today.

Great job Mickey defending your player, you spineless, worthless, vapid, know-nothing, empty uniform.

The bat might bounce back and hit us in the face.

After Ros-ERR-io homers (Ros-HR-io), Matz gives a run back on soft hits, including one by the pitcher. Should Conforto have been able to get Posey's hit?

=G-Fafif post_id=16304 time=1563520426 user_id=55] Intensely questionable managing in the top of the 10th: second and third, nobody out, Callaway pinch-hits for Ramos for Lagares vs Will Smith. No way the lefty won't IBB Ramos, which he does. So you've burned your last RH bat and compound it by pinch-running Guillorme for Ramos, depleting your bench. Eventually, Dom Smith winds up in right.

I'm not clear about the urgency to recall Rhame under any circumstances but especially knowing that he had to serve a suspension. They appealed it while in Minnesota and got it cut to one game but that was the best that they were going to do. Given how much the bullpen worked against the Twins BVW took a chance that the game where Rhame was suspended wouldn't go 16 and lost that chance (and the game). Rhame isn't any good anyway and there were other relievers on the 40-man who weren't going to be suspended.

Their manager says so: https://twitter.com/Jomboy_/status/1151971547147583488 Boone seems to think that the umpire should only be good because his batters are good ("savages"). Typical MFY entitlement there. Congrats to Brett Gardner on throwing a fit and not self-inflicting a wound requiring stitches.

    YES!

This isn't going to happen again, is it?

Wayne: Rosario is "hustling around the bases". What we saw: Rosario jogging into 2B.

Has Keith ever said that the batter was right not to swing at what was called "strike three"?

Time for Familia to be diagnosed with another injury. He needs some time in Syracuse (which isn't fair to Syracuse but that's the way it goes).

SNY is not providing a working streaming feed so we have to rely on tweets.

"I GM'd good but boy did they play bad. Not my fault! Brodie... out!"

=seawolf17 post_id=15694 time=1562934480 user_id=91] I think Wheeler is most likely. They're not trading Syndergaard or Dom. No way.

Jeff Passan said on ESPN that Zack Wheeler "will not be pitching in Queens on July 31st" and that interest in him is "far and wide".
