Maybe it's the joy of this inning, more likely it's another 3 hour game, but Howie just speculated as to whether Jake should pitch G1 (Wednesday) on 3 days rest, or G2 (Thursday),on full-rest, against the Dodgers.
8 days left and we don't have GKR. Instead, we have a vapid FOX broadcast during which John Smoltz will go down on every member of the Braves and get it from behind from Bobby Cox.
Two games with Boston, two games with Toronto, two games with the MFYs and the usual STL/MIA/WSH/HOU games comprise the Mets '21 Spring Training Schedule, the first of the Steve Cohen era. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EiDntPwXYAEk_zF?format=jpg&name=medium>

What a big sack of human excrement Ramos has been. And you know that he'll lose 20 pounds this off-season, sign a one-year deal, say that he was distracted with the new baby and Covid, and have a great year for someone else. For now, they might as well waive his fat ass.
Thanks, Edgy. If "maybe the Mets would be better off with the Rodriguez/Lopez team as the owner rather than Cohen", then consider that Jeffy would have stayed in our lives", per Deesha Thosar in The Daily News: https://twitter.com/DeeshaThosar/status/1305937057836158978https://twitter.com/DeeshaThosar/status/1305937057836158978
I suspect that Cohen might bring in an Executive Director of Baseball Operations or something like that (I see that they presently have a Director of Baseball Operations and I've never heard of the guy: https://www.mlb.com/mets/team/front-officehttps://www.mlb.com/mets/team/front-office) who can look at the entire operation.
Will Joel Sherman write another article on how upset Jennifer Lopez is and how Alex Rodriguez has found another deep-pocketed partner? After listening to Rodriguez last night, no matter you think of him from anything else, it is wonderful that we won't have to hear his monotonous, all-knowing, drone of a voice in the capacity of Owner of the Mets.
So long as Luis and Jeremy stuck to an artificial standard for the number of pitches I'm fine. They say that the game is important but what's really important is making up a number of pitches for the starter to throw (or innings) and sticking to that even if it means losing the game.
Well said. I watched some of the tennis today and their replay system figured out "in or out" in a few seconds. With this system and these dopes it takes 2 to 3 minutes every time.
