There are a lot of talented players not attached to a QO, though. I wouldn't punt a #14 pick (and $500K international pool dough) on Castellanos when you can go for Bryant instead. Same for Semien when Baez is available. I'd absolutely try to re-stock the farm and the major league level at the same time. Like a good team would.

I'd definitely try to re-sign Stro first. If the Mets don't wanna give up chips to trade for Luis Castillo, fuck it, go for Max. Less sexy backup: Kevin Gausman. I already miss Noah.
