    Mets on Wednesday: WE ARE BRINGING THE HAMMER DOWN! Mets on Friday: WE HAVE PUT THE HAMMER AWAY. WITHOUT USING IT. MAYBE FOR GOOD.

    I would love to have watched this game. I wonder if fans of minor league teams care about wins and losses like MLB fans. can you imagine if the Mets were on the verge of losing a game they led 16-0? (and yes I remember the game they got blown out 16-12 after leading 9-4)

    I get that we are disappointed in Mark. But a lefty masher who can play the corners in a pinch is a good guy to have on the team. I think you keep him for 2027 unless someone gives you something of value. I would not nontender or dump.

    Reminds me of someone. When I first saw him he looked very familiar, but I realized I must be thinking of someone else. Another black player, tall and lanky, with a round baby face. Someone else with the initials T.T. that wasn't that good overall, but found a way to get big hits against the Mets. After some searching, I realized it was Michael A. Taylor. Not a TT at all. I'm getting old. Anyway, while I was there, I took a nice trip down memory lane. I counted five Mets with the initials T.T. I would never have gotten this without looking it up. I'll bet you guys can do it. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Two are easy. One is guessable. Two are hard.

    Game was kinda boring. The Ewing HR was a nice way to start. But the offense going to sleep against Dobnak or whatever his name is was mind numbing. Glad we broke out in the end. It 100% felt like a loss just waiting to happen.

    I’ll be there tonight. My first game since Opening Day. And that was a work thing. So really my first game of 2026.

    I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pitcher as not ready as Seelinger. Looked flustered and rushed the entire time.
