I'm willing to cut them a little slack. The "concert" was part of MLB's efforts for curing cancer. Every MLB has been involved in it. Since their dad died from the disease, they were an appropriate act to pick. I just wish they had told us sooner, so we could have expected the duration of the delay. Later

The Mets announced that Francisco Lindor underwent a debridement procedure on his right elbow after the 2025 season. Lindor previously had surgery on the same elbow to remove a bone spur following the 2023 season and went on to have a fully healthy Spring Training and 2024 season (in terms of his elbow, at least). This debridement procedure - typically a minor operation to remove scar tissue of some kind - is more than likely to have little to no impact on Lindor’s readiness for 2026.(all exhale) Later

Former New York Yankees top prospect Jesús Montero died, the team announced Sunday. He was 35. Montero was reportedly involved in a motorcycle crash in Venezuela earlier in October and had been in a medically-induced coma, according to the New York Post.
