My kid picked up his second save today for Binghamton. His record so far is 7 G 8 IP 10K 2.25 ERA Later

Another poor outing: 4.1IP 5H 5R 5ER 1BB 5K 2HR 10.80 ERA I don't think we'll be seeing him this year unless he has a dramatic turnaround. Later

The only thing keeping my vote from a five is that I had seen all the bally-hoo before I went to see it and was somehow disappointed it wasn't better than it was. If I see it again, I may change my rating. But I do remember thinking that Haing S. Ngor deserved his supporting actor Oscar. Later

Herzog was as a fleet centerfielder who I saw catch a fly ball next to/ behind the monuments in the original YS. And I first rooted for "Oisk" when he pitched for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Somewhere in my house, I have the scorecard from one of his no-hitters. RIP to both of them. Later

HAs anyone reported if the bets were on baseball, or other sports? If not baseball - I wouldn't be angry at a one year suspension. If baseball, Ohtani's involvement in paying off his pal's debt, I think that makes him liable for a suspension longer than that. Then, there is the possibility that MLB seems to not be investigating, that Ohtani is the real gambler and the translator took one for the team. In any event, the guy must have been good at translating the spoken word, but couldn't translate the written words about" No Betting" that are posted in every clubhouse. Later

Interesting that in the two years he led in winning pct, his ERA+ were 124 and 111. There's a lot of luck involved in that, or a team that does a lot of hitting. Later
