  1. This team is in deep shit. That said we still got a shot to win
  2. Bad guys send out Rojas Diaz Agular Anderson Brinson Alfaro De La Cruz Jackson Pitcher Nick Neidert We saw Neidert back on April 8. He gave up just 1 run but didn;t get thru the 5th
  3. Nimmo Alonso McNeil Baez Smith Davis Conforto McCann Walker

  5. I get pessimistic when I don't see a catalyst. Baez by himself isn't doing it for me, just another low-OBP guy at the front of the lineup. I'm not even sure if this is doable or ultimately wise but what if Luis started doling out Trachsel Cures. Schedule 'em: Conforto, report to Syracuse immediately, see you in one week. When he comes back, Smith goes down When Smith comes back, McCann goes down If Smith and McCann don;t wanna go down then start producing more NOW. Then after 3 weeks, hopefully while we stay above water, Zimmo and Lindor are healthy and the healthy but struggling guys have been humbled and forgiven. Step on the gas Aug. 25.
  6. Yeah they won't necessarily say
  7. Still early vs these palookas, that's the thing
  8. Go Lenny Harris. I've been very suspicious of the Mets' goodness all year
  9. Stop this crazy thing
  10. Big role in that one game
  11. I'm the same way with Wolfy wrt Chipper, who was a villian for sure,, but that made him a great opponent. And Freddie, what's to hate? He's a terrific competitor and seems like a good character too. Guys like Harper who come off as though they are separate from the fray and seemingly waste a portion of their ability to contribute to competition.
  12. Odd but Matz has changed his style. Usually waits to have a our-run lead before doing this stuff. #efficiency
  13. Shoulda learned a churve, I guess. Smell ya
  14. Spiders would have been more fun without a doubt, but you almost have to respect 'em for not going with that one
  15. That's actually kinda clever. I approve. Not big on the winged G, or the wordmark, necessarily, but the name works.
  16. Wainwright to me seems like a dude the Braves would get. I already think he's a Brave in fact
  17. MFYs (Chad Green closing) cough up a 2 run lead with 2 out in the 9th, score in the free runner 10th, then give two back in the bottom of the 10th and the Red Sox win. Free runner in the Sox 10th scores on consecutive wild pitches by Brooks Kriske; batter is walked then wild-pitched to 2nd and wild-pitched to 3rd, from where he scores on a sac fly. 5-4 is your final, MFYs 8 games back and a 1/2 game out of 4th
  18. That Daily News preview box in the Harvey story is all whacky. Games Friday, Saturday... and Thursday (it was Sunday). Tom "Stupid" Koehler pitched, ND, we lost it on 4 in the 11th off Bobby Pee and Robert Carson
  19. I only vaguely recall that whole sitch. We all like Dom, but he's neither Will the Thrill nor Palmeiro yet
