    Fboy and I will be at the matinee this Thursday, somewhere on the first base side of the field in the 200 level. I "owe" Lunchpail a game when we got rained out a few weeks ago. Will look into a ticket exchange. Meantime, the Tuesday Night Mets Club reassembles tomorrow in 434 (left field lower Prom. 1st row!

    I have to say, there was a whiff of something not right with this group going back to that McNeil-Lindor punchup. I'm only speculating here but I imagine the Lindor acquisition interfered somehow with the Cookie Club wholesomeness of the core Mets, and getting Baez only exacerbated it because it further burned the fuse on McNeil or Davis's departure.
