  2. I HATE the intentional walk here to a terrible hitter in Bernadina, try to strike him out you idiots!!!
  3. Heffner says "please don't demote me" tonight!

Assuming Strassburg makes it to the mound, I think we can all guess how this one is going to turn out. It'll turn out the same way as playing the lowly Marlins fresh off a sweep of the Yankees- not the way you hope or expect!
  5. Write in Edgardo Alfonzo!

  7. Could the Mets just say "fuck you" and sign a development agreement with the Long Island Ducks? How does the level of play in the Atlantic League compare?

I wonder what the numbers are, but I doubt most ballots are cast in person. That may have once been true, but probably not since they started internet voting.
  9. Ankiel isn't an answer, he's a 35 year old drain on the limited number of at bats that the Mets could he using on someone younger who at least might be better than we thought. even if 200 more Ankiel at bats wins us one extra game, isn't giving them to Lagares or den dekker better for the team's future.

[ichiro, Gardner, Cano] I would have left him in, he was cruising and don't ignore that they are burning rice's arm out. If it gets to Cano with a runner on where he can tie it, THEN take him out It DID NOT work perfectly, Rice could be unavailable or ineffective/tired tired tomorrow because of it.

Your desperate belief in the invincibility of your closer? Let's throw that in the truck too. Your bullpen's freshness and indefatigability? Thank you. Your joke of a ballpark's ability to cheapen the value of a run, a lead, the game of baseball, and all the profession of ballpark architecture? We're taking that right on down to the salvage yard." The Mets aren't contending this year, but I'd love to have the Yankees looking back in September, 10 games out of the 2nd Wild Card, and knowing that a sweep (or would it really be 2 sweeps of 2 games each? haha!) by the Mets was where it all started to go wrong
  12. nice job by the Mets, now pound the FUCK out of this bullpen and force them all to pitch today, weakening them for tomorrow!
  13. SUCK IT AGAIN!!!!!!
  14. SUCK IT!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Harvey not coming out for the 9th and won't be eligible for the Complete Game Loss (also known as The Livan Hernandez)
  16. Tejada doesn't even want to try for the ball?
  17. TERRYS FUCKING ANGRY!##
  18. Oh. We hadn't seen much of "waives at crap outside the zone Wright" this year. There he is.
  19. take that motherfuckers!!
  20. Edgy MD wrote: I'm not sure, maybe Wright should have seen that. Jeter would have been magically covering the plate there with his clutchy-ness
  21. Gary is humming Star Trek music...
  22. Harvey can't buy a run, he' ll have to start hitting homers if he wants a W

  24. For anyone interested, Keith Law talks on his podcast yesterday with the founder of Baseball-Reference about a few things including WAR and the difference between BBRks version of WAR and FanGraph's version. Even if you are a Law-hater its a good listen if you're interested in the WAR numbers.
  25. If the Mets traded him just for salary relief and then anounced the savings is going to cut all food prices ten cents I think the fans would be happy
