  1. Done! You can go ahead and revote June 26.
  2. I don't edit votes anymore, but I can easily remove your entire ballot and you can enter again if you like. Just let me know.
  3. I'll have to be sure to visit there if I ever want to be motivated to poke my eyes out.

  5. I agree. Let's call him up. I wouldn't advocate the same for Alonso; I'd rather not start his service clock ticking in this waste of a year, but McNeil isn't in the same category of prospects.
  6. Or that could be something that Mickey said in order to quell the controversy. I wouldn't rule that out.
  7. Much was made of the fact that Cespedes didn't join the club when they were in Miami. Apparently most injured players do. I read that Travis d'Arnaud was in the dugout. I don't know if it's true or not, but it's certainly a possibility that Cespedes doesn't feel terribly motivated to rejoin a terrible team that's going nowhere.
  8. Meanwhile Matz has been pitching fairly well lately. Would this be a wise time to "sell high" on him? (Relatively speaking, of course.)
  9. I think it involves spending. On a higher quality of free agent (if they're willing to come here) and on international scouting. I don't want to trade deGrom or Syndergaard either, but I don't know that there's a quick fix that's likely to have the Mets contending in 2019. Maybe 2020, if things go well.
  10. I know! It's clear that 2015 and 2016 were the exceptions.
