  3. Yes, and consecutive division titles will/would be really nice, and long overdue.

  6. Thank you, Willets. Games closing soon, perhaps as early as Tuesday. If you have any catching up to do, do your catching up before I do my catching up. 7. Can you see Trachsel the Cub pitching a shutout against the Mets in the playoffs this year?

  9. I bicycled across the Golden Gate bridge yesterday, and I can verify that there are two crisis hotline phones along the walkway, one on the south side and one on the north side. Jumping off the bridge would be incredibly easy for anyone inclined to do so. You just have to throw yourself over a fence that's about four feet high.

  13. ="Rockin' Doc"]Yancey is away on a prolonged family vacation and won't be back until after Labr Day. He said he would pay no attention to baseball scores or standings during his absence. Unless the Mets turn it around in Atlanta this weeknd and kick the Braves collective asses, I don't think he'll be too happy with what has transpired while he was away. Oh, I never said THAT. I've been paying attention. I've even been logging in here once in a while to Schaefer vote. I said I won't be doing any tallying of votes until I return, which will be late on Monday. (I'm typing this from San Francisco. My family is still asleep so I'm using the Internet kiosk in the hotel lobby.) All games against Pittsburgh, Washington, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Philadelphia will be closing shortly after Labor Day. So if you haven't voted yet, catch up! 'Nuff said!

  21. Why were you moving the August 16 thread? It hadn't been closed or tallied yet? I suspect that nobody's going to want to revote that awful loss. Except me, I guess. Beltran 3 Castillo 2 Reyes 2 Green 1 Wright 1
