Gsellman attacks Miami. Wei-Yin Chen defends. Only one will stand victorious at the end of the day.

Chen's a lefty. Look for some hot Wilmer action and for Céspedes to go exploring a far deeper ballpark.

When I looked at the pitchers announced for Miami last week and saw "Chen (L)" I was amazed that Bruce Chen was still in the majors.
I know lefties seem to stay around forever, but .....

No Reyes tonight.

I see that's been said.

7 runs* (so far) in an inning and a half on essentially one hard-hit ball (Ozuna's obviously).

Scoring that Yelich grounder as a hit -- Awful!! -- makes all the runs against Gsellman earned. Flip the scoring and they all become UN-eraned.

TJ not exactly making the most of his first start. Could have had two errors and then K's with the bases-loaded on 3 pitches.

* oe: 8th run scores while I'm hitting 'Submit'

Can't help but to wonder who our #6 starter is.

Well, if you consider that Matz, Gsellman, and Lugo are, in some order, 5, 6, and 7, what you're really looking for is who #8 is.
And your answer is probably Montero

Even the Book of Love* isn't as good as that comeback.

Booth getting deeply into this. I think the team should give the O.S. a call and protest.

Call him Alka-Gselltzer; young Robert's settled himself down in almost-incomparable fashion.

That stat Gary quoted a few minutes ago, about Wilmer having 13 HRs in his last 110 ABs vs LHPs
So given a hypothetical full season (let's say 550 ABs just to make the math easy) where he faces only LHPs, that's a pace for 65 homers
