Changing his Twitter background to lightning over LA/Chicago/Kansas City was cool. Proclaming Terry Collins Manager of the year in Asgard.going around to all the other NY teams and taking pictures in the center of the rink/court/endzone?

Guest cooby classic Guests Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 This boy is just so likeable!
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 I think the first time I saw him being interviewed it was on Mets Hot Stove, after spring training had started. Kevin Burkhardt, I think, was talking to Noah in Port St. Lucie and Noah said that he was planning on shedding some tears when How I Met Your Mother went off the air.It sounds like he's recovered fairly well.
Guest 86-Dreamer Guests Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 I just wish he was not wearing that horrific black jersey. gotta go orange and blue for the Isles.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 If Steven Matz did that lying-down-on-the-ice thing he'd be on the disabled list for eight weeks.

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 I'd worry that his hair would get stuck to the ice.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 On the Met-for-life front, when was the last time a starting pitcher had a career of meaningful length (even as few as six or seven years) in which he's spent his entire career with one team?Who was the last Met to do it?OE: The Giants have no desire to re-sign Lincecum, do they?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Craig Swan would have fit this criteria except for a few innings pitched for the California Angels. These are the Mets who have appeared in 100 or more games without ever having played for another team. The only prominent starting pitchers are Niese and Gee, and their careers, of course, are still in progress. Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 bbrdotcom has Feliciano with 484 games
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 So, according to my measuring, 6-foot-10-inch Eric Hillman is the most prolific career Met starting pitcher, with 36 starts as a Met and no time logged with any other big league teams.
