Preserving a six-run lead over the Royals counts as a save.

Hmm I didn't get that vibe. Seemed like he liked it. He sang a few lines

He had a camera three feet away from his face. His face was the very definition of "embarrassed, but game."

For the last time, bud: they're pesky, and good at making contact. They're not fucking gods by ANY means. If the umps get two strike calls right, the Royals are shut out tonight.

If Jeurys could have struck out Gordon three days ago and allowed him a HR tonight we'd be up 2 games to 1 here instead of the other way around.

How come Curtis puts the glove on his head for every postgame interview?

He explained that a few days ago: so he doesn't forget where he put it.

At Bats of the Game:
1) the Grandy come-backer where the pitcher brain-locked
2) getting Gordon to ground out with the bases loaded (Syndergaard's last pitch as it turned out)

If either or both of those ABs turn out other than how they did this could have been a very different game despite the final lopsided score

OK! Now we are ready! That's the Gnome of Victory and Celebration, Thor's Hammer, an autographed photo of Tom Seaver, the postseason cap -- and a new NL Championship shirt that came today, a gift from my cousin!

Naturally I've wearing my FAFIF retired number shirt!

Nobody in the house is allowed to mess with the shrine for the rest of the Series!

We won game three in '86 by six runs, too.

The KC pitcher briefly having a nervous breakdown evoked that silly Red Sox play from Game three too

Lots of parallels going on
