I'm wracking my head trying to figure out what to wear. I chalked up the game 2 loss to the FSU shorts and t-shirt I was wearing, went back to the blue Mets t that I'd worn for game 1 for game 3 and then it went sour last night.

Think I'm going with the Faith and Fear in Flushing t for game 5.

Anyone else with lucky do-or-die game wear?

I wore this shirt Friday and Monday. I'm going with it again tomorrow -

I've been rotating jerseys. I all depends on if I eat during the game. If I ever stain the Seaver jersey I'll shoot myself.
I have a white 1986 25th anniversary logo hat, which I wear every game. I have many Mets caps but that's the one.
I have a bunch of Mets jackets (& a kool hoodie) but they're all beat up and old (most recent, black style circa 2002). I have one really excellent jacket that's so kool, like my Seaver jersey, I hardly ever wear it. It has the NY on the breast, Mets logo on one shoulder, 2000 World Series logo on the other. Blue and black. I might have to whip that out for game 5. And maybe switch to a team 2000WS cap.

I can't find any images of that jacket or the 86logo hat on-line. I'll have to take a picture of em.

I was working the other night until about the 8th, at which point I plopped on a Mr. Met tee and my blue-button cotton Met hat.

May need something with a little more... brio, like, say, my orange I'm Keith Hernandez tee.

Never really thought about what I wear for a tv game. I do have a
well-worn FaFiF tee, maybe I'll see if it can bring me some tv mojo.

I was thinking about a frilly pink nightie with my matching bunny slippers ... but of course that's my usual Thursday outfit whether I'm watching baseball or not.

Its not what I wear, it's where I sit.
It has to be in a certain corner of my family room couch, with my feet on the cocktail table.
Its the best I can do, ever since MMYF made me get rid of the ratty old recliner (a definite good luck bringer in big games since Super Bowl III).
I believe that is grounds for divorce in 47 states. Unfortunately, Connecticut isn't one of them. But if the Mets lose, you can blame her.

I may not wear anything but my Mets [crossout:26pl4zk6]beard[/crossout:26pl4zk6] patch.

Full nudity. The glow of my pasty skin will distract the Dodgers all the way in LA.

Seriously my intention is running gear and my little radio. I'll be out on the streets of Brooklyn for at least 3 innings of this because I can't deal with a couch and shit. Plus it'll cover for the beer and wine that will surely disappear from the house tonight win or lose.

It distracted the CPF plenty. Nobody was able to recover enough to post in this thread for almost 45 minutes.
JCL was the quickest healer.

I will be wearing at least a Mets hat on stage, and probably my flashing logo pin.

I'm duplicating my Game One wardrobe of a grey road jersey and blue cap.

I guess pants are optional, but I'll probably be wearing some.

That sucks. Have you considered faking your own death so you can stay home and watch the game?

I'm going to take credit for this win. Left the house at 9 p.m. with the Mets down 2-1 and ran until they had the lead -- 7.3 miles. Muffy's home run came on the Pulaski bridge at the Queens-Brooklyn line.

I did switch to the 2000WS cap and that worked well. SWEEP!
I just ordered my 2015 Mets World Series caps. Got 2, one authentic/blue/orange NY and one authentic/blue/white NY. Picked up one for my father as well, who finally might be actually becoming a Mets fan. He's a hockey & football guy but he's been watching most of these games with me.

This is the jacket I was talking about above. I can't find another of this type anywhere.

I got this on the AC boardwalk at Pier 1. There was this sporting goods store there and I'd stop in a few times a month and buy a Mets cap or something like that. The owner of the store got to know me as "The Mets Guy". Very nice man. One time I was looking at stuff and he comes up to me and says "I have just the jacket for you!", and he tells me he has to special order it and to come back in a week. I did and this jacket was waiting for me, and I almost creamed my jeans. lol, okay, not that extreme but I was like WOW, KOOL!. Absolutely love this jacket.

And there's the 25th anninversary cap, white. I had a blue one that I bought at Shea in 1986 and that was, and still is, my favorite all time Mets cap. I wore that until it was a ragtop. I wanted to replace the blue one, never could, but did run into the white one, which is pretty kool too.

And that's Angel, my brother's cutesy wootsie lil dawgee. Come here Angel. HEY WATCH THE JACKET!
*raises leg. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

It's always fun to see a photo of a dog licking its nose. It's like they sense the camera and decide it's a good time to lick their noses.

I'm sure that if humans could do that, that would be the standard for posed photographs. Instead of "Say Cheese!" it would be "Lick Your Nose!"
