Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 A lot of looks at unhappy-yet-beautiful people in the stands over the last few.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Taking a little long to get those books.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 On the other hand, tying run is suddenly on deck.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Uh, anytime you want to end this game guys if OK with me.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Not exactly our strongest outing from the pen.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Murphy saves a run, can you imagine if he threw that totally away?
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Not always pretty, but in the books!

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Damned thing = over.It was literally a damned thing, too. This was the curse of lex Torres in action. You mark my words.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Not to make too many excuses for the pen - but there was like one maybe two hard hit balls that inning. Everything was finding holes. Not exactly a great debut by O'Flaherty (I'm going to start calling him MIV - easier to type). Again lots of soft stuff finding holes, but the disturbing part was that it was all vs LHBsAnd the good news, just as the Mets were closing it out Welington Castillo was hitting a 3R HR to make it 8-2 Snakes.

nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Let's hope that was OFlahertys quota of runs allowed for August.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 11 - 2 DBacks mid-9th -- and they used OF Tyler Moore to close out the inning.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Two games up in the division. Who'da thunk it after that nut-punch loss to the Padres just 6 days ago?
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 I lost the signal while driving home. It was first and third with 2 outs in the ninth. I wish they'd get a station with a signal that's strong toward the North. Had to drive an additional 35 minutes home before I found out the score.Phew! That game had an asshole pucker power factor (APPF) of 9.6.At 9.8, your chair disappears up inside you.Later
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 We're slipping. Where's the old man?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I missed the Uribe homer while using the bathroom. The bathroom has been good to me this week.
