One more for today. (IPP, for those who missed it, stands for "Individual Player Prediction")

Gee will have a nice season... 30 starts, 12 wins, ERA a little over 4. No injuries that will demoralize the team.

sounds about right...Long term, I see Gee as more of a long reliever and spot starter than part of the rotation...

Trachsel in a good year, only slightly less excruciating to watch.

180 IP, 8-9, 4.04 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, 144 K, 7.2 K/9, 2.8 BB/9

There seems to be accord amongst all the scouts that Gee doesn't have great stuff, and that leads to tempered expectations, but I don't see it. To me, it seems like he's got nice secondary stuff, good control, and a fastball that touches the low 90's. That's plenty enough to win. He's a young pitcher with a 4.06 career ERA and (for whatever it's worth) a winning record on some bad teams.

I'll echo BG's prediction. I think he takes that next step forward this year.***

***Readers should be aware that I have previously made predictions like "Jae Wong Seo will be a solid #2/3 starter in this league for many years." and "Some team is going to turn Heilman into a starter and make us feel stupid."

Recent photos have shown he has trimmed the C. Everett Koop beard.
I think he has the potential to be a contributor in a big way. His stuff does not melt the radar gun, but he did set a modern franchise record for strikeouts at Buffalo. He seems to know how to pitch and has good command of his pitches.
I see a 13-8 3.96 year, in over 175 innings. (160K)
