Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 A player has option years. He can be sent up and down any number of times within the option years.

I was wondering if the DL counts, or if he's done for the season does it not burn the option?not that it probably matters in Kirk's case.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 I think so, because he'd be on the Buffalo DL and not the major league DL.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Rob Johnson has a swollen hand. Again, probably an Fman joke in there somewhere, but I'm not sure how, exactly.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 19, 2012 Author Posted September 19, 2012 Adam Ruby Tuesday reports, between titillating insinuations about Ike Davis' nightlife, that Frank Francisco would be unavailable to pitch tonight due to an unspecified elbow issue.Actually, his report stated that he's "unavailable to close," which would be pretty funny if it didn't MAKE ME WANT TO KILL!
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 As if this team needs someone to close.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 26, 2012 Author Posted September 26, 2012 Reviewing these reports, I'm guessing that there's an error and the report meant to say 2012.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 By "reports," Edgy means Frankiefrank's medical reports, which he has faxed to him each morning along with notifications of every news story featuring any Met, former Met, and/or former Met's family member.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 26, 2012 Author Posted September 26, 2012 I don't use fax anymore.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 I guess this will spill over into the 2013 thread, but Lucas Duda has apparently undergone surgery to repair a wrist he fractured while moving furniture.
