Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 well, Thole played against Wandy the lefty right? It could just be that the plan has never been to play him 145+ games and he'd sit down frequently, not sure why _now_ is the time, at least let him play al ittle more while it's the third stringer backing him up.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 He's probably played plenty enough. We'll see.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 If last night taken in toto is any indication, he looks like he needs a week's vacation.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Gary Cohen opens the pre game with " it's been nine months since he last played in a game for the Mets ", that just makes it sound even worse for some reason.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 WTF? The Mets are winning 4-0! Capuano, one walk and four hits through five innings.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 David has two extra base hits tonight and 3 RBI. Why was Happ left in to face Wright? Can we hold a six-run lead?
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Keith says the best Defensive catcher he saw was Bench followed by Gary Carter. I'll take Jerry Grote over Carter. Jerry was a tougher son of a bitch. Ask the umps lol.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Cmom Pen, Keep Krod on the bench!
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 LMAO!!! nice hustle by Bay to get home there
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Jesus but it's been an eventful night for Bay....a four base error on Pence gets Bay all around the bases on what should have been a routine pop out.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 I do believe that is the first time I have seen a four base error..Ike with a towering home run...wow
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Past the apple. Thasssssssssssashot.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 kaboom!nice to see the Mets TACKING ON to a lead instead of sitting on it!
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Multiple HR's? Bounces going the Mets way?!?!? SOLID PITCHING?!!??!?!?!? CATS AND DOGS LIVING TOGETHER! MASS HYSTERIA!
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 That was nice for a change. I'd like to order more of these, please.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Given the recent state of the Mets' bullpen, was Davis' homer considered a late and close situation?Later
