Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Nice REM salutes.Cleveland's a nice city. Took the son there a couple years ago. It's a good ballpark, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has the much-debated induction issues but is a fun place to visit nonetheless and there is among the most unusual presidential grave sites.

soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Philthy and Atlanta draw the Yankees and Rays. We get the Indians. You gotta love interleague play! This team should be on top of the world in a few days.Go Mets![/quote:az8n1puw]Welcome abordick Fensterblau, but be careful with those assumptions.Philly and Atlanta are no pushovers, the Yanks are hurting, the Rays are cooled off and the Mets are facing a hot pitcher tonight.

Guest themetfairy Guests Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 I'm worried about Johan. He hasn't been sharp tonight, or recently.

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 For what its' worth I got to meet and talk with Bob Feller in the 70's when he was doing Iowa Oaks TV and must say he was a class act and am proud to have met him.If people think he's cranky remember he comes from an era where half a days work meant 6-6. He doesn't suffer fools gladly and as far as WW2 goes I'm glad he was on our side.
