Metsies heading for the Cuyahoga, where the visiting baseball team as opposed to the river itself will be on fire.

I kind of like having the AL doormats on our schedule.

Nice REM salutes.

Cleveland's a nice city. Took the son there a couple years ago. It's a good ballpark, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has the much-debated induction issues but is a fun place to visit nonetheless and there is among the most unusual presidential grave sites.

This isn't an off day. It's Next Game's Eve.

Philthy and Atlanta draw the Yankees and Rays. We get the Indians. You gotta love interleague play!
This team should be on top of the world in a few days.
Go Mets![/quote:az8n1puw]

Welcome abordick Fensterblau, but be careful with those assumptions.

Philly and Atlanta are no pushovers, the Yanks are hurting, the Rays are cooled off and the Mets are facing a hot pitcher tonight.

Nice catch by D-Wright!

There are so few fans in the stands that you can hear individual ones call out on the broadcast....

I'm worried about Johan. He hasn't been sharp tonight, or recently.

Santana looking like shite.

Dumb Donald with the bunt saved his ass.

He had a lead last Thursday also before he let the game slip through his fingers.

Fuck! The Indians cobble together another run, thanks in part to a Johan balk!

4-1 Cleveland in the 4th.

I'm with you. The velocity hasn't been there all year. Hope he is not hurting but I think he is.

For what its' worth I got to meet and talk with Bob Feller in the 70's when he was doing Iowa Oaks TV and must say he was a class act and am proud to have met him.

If people think he's cranky remember he comes from an era where half a days work meant 6-6. He doesn't suffer fools gladly and as far as WW2 goes I'm glad he was on our side.
