Would you trade Wright for Hanley Ramirez

A long time Mets fan asked me today if I would trade Wright for Hanley Ramirez after this week's Ramirez showing in Florida and Wright's offensive woes. I am a big Wright fan but I think it would be something to think about. What do you guys think??

Yeah I would , Ramirez is the better player IMO.His current shenanigans while disturbing wouldn't be a deal breaker. What about Reyes though?

OK, so Hanley isn't a .400 hitter, but he is arguably one of the top 5 players in the NL.
And he is reportedly not very well liked by his teammates. And, IIRC, Ted never insulted one of his managers in public.
The manager has said all the right things, agreeing that he never did play in the majors, and tried to sound conciliatory. I heard this morning that he is in line to replace Bobby Cox in Atlanta after this season. So he must be thought of as pretty good at what he does.
But IMO it is time for the GM to make some sort of public announcement supporting the manager.

As for trading Wright for him, I wouldn't. But if I were Omar, I'd listen closely if he was offered Ramirez for Reyes+.
Hanley may be an asshole, but I would prefer that he was our asshole, rather than having to face him 18 times a year.

I'd trade Reyes for Hanley in a heartbeat. It's a no-brainer and it also means that the Marlins will never do it. But you never know. We got Hernandez for a lot less mainly because Keith fell out of favor in St. Looey.

I would probably pull the trigger on a Ramirez for Wright deal. I would definitely make a Reyes for Ramirez swap.
