Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Frenchy sort of makes noise -- grounds in a run!
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Gameday won't tell me if Francoeur hustled to avoid that DP but I certainly have noticed it when actually watching other games. He's not the perfect player but he sure is a likeable fellow.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 ANGEL! And Barajas scoring from first on a triple - nice.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 My nomination for the 2011 slogan: "We're the Mets. We triple."
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Gamecast tells me that the "character" of the Citifield walls cost Angel a HR.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Pegan! Cora! Sweetness!!!!

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Holy shit... what's going on with this team???Ashie definitely has the golden IGT touch, doesn't he?
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 I've said all along that this team has the talent to win, and Manuel's the guy to bring them to the promised land.

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 An error on Reyes on the throw to first lets the Dodgers score, Jose gets the error but Davis gets zero points for his gymnastics around the bag there.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 NO! NO! We should have gone after Jason Marquis! DON'T BE FOOLED!
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Maine limits the damage with a strikeout to end the inning. Those of you fortunate enough to be watching, how does Maine look? Any life on that fastball?

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Not watching, but gameday says he's throwing it at 87-88. Got a couple up to 90 or 91.

Maybe it's goot oomph or movement or something.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 (ACTUALLY) TRUE FACT: Even after that funky, funky inning, Maine has thrown fewer pitched through 3 than Johan through 2 yesterday.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 FRENCHY! It's extra-bases day at Citi!
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Jeff gets us that run right back.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Good hustle by Francoeur, twice now Keith has remarked on the hustle of this team , he thinks it's one of the biggest differences between this season and last.
