Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Tough stretch coming up -- four games in San Francisco, followed by 3 in LA and 3 at Fenway. These there teams are a dominating 39-12 at home this year thus far. What do you think they'll do? What would you be happy with?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I am hoping for 6-4, expecting 0-10 or worse.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I voted 4-6 , obviously hoping for better....
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Oops, I voted for what would make me happy. (5 and 5.) What do I expect? I'm afraid it will be 3 and 7.Regardless of their record, if they come home within a game of first place, we should be pretty content. This is the kind of trip that can kill a team in August. Less so in May, but it's still a dangerous week and a half coming up.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 6-4 (or better) would be great. 5-5 would be perfectly acceptable. 4-6 would be realistic. Anything less would prove that this team really hasn't turned a corner and there is nothing to really be excited about this year.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2009 Author Posted May 14, 2009 I think they'll go 5-5. San Fran can't hit and LA is minus-Manny. I can only hope the Mets can put a better showing at Fenway than they did last time.
duan Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 i voted 6-4, the mets are a little bit better then all those teams even with current malaises so I expect them to win a few more games.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I voted for fman's sister, but i'd like to see the Mets go 6-4.
