Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 And we're back. That's your walk quota, Johan. Get some Watkins ointment out to the mound now!
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Back from the abyss. I don't mind the ump calling that pitch a strike on Castillo. I do mind him doing it within a minute of calling a pitch in the exact same location a ball. How the hell are guys supposed to command the strike zone if it changes with every pitch?
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Mr. Redlegs is everywhere. Nice to know that Mr. Met could go incognito if he could.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 The blue seems to be giving the outside corner to the lefties, but not the outside corner to the righties. I think Johan struck out Encarnacion like 5 times that last at bat.
duan Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 brilliant DP. that's worth a hit credited to church.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Nice, quick inning for Johan. Top 'o the lineup comin up. Lets get some runs.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Oh, Topdot. You are not the news, stop pretending. You slime.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 I told you Edgy that Church was a good defender.
Guest Mendoza Line Guests Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 It didn't look quite as impressive on Gameday...

Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 I think new, svelte Aaron Harang is actually scarier looking than the chunky version.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Ah, a new season means new obnoxious 'don't smoke' ads. Fuck.I quit in 2001. Get off my TV.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 The DP helped Johan find a nice groove here. It's a pitchers' duel kids.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Walk to Beltran, bloop single for Church. Rain coming down a bit steadier now, too...
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Looks like it's starting to come down a little bit now.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 I'm in the middle of class right now, I really need to curb my gesturing at blooping hits.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Looks like today Church came to say, "F-you, Gary Sheffield. I'm the rightfielder for the New York Mets."
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Runners move up on a dropped fly ball.
