Love Naked Gun. It has so many gems, large and small.

Like Steffie's driving lesson (taught by John Houseman) being commandeered by Drebin - hysterical!

Tough choice as I could watch both movies if I happened upon them (a good barometer for me) but I voted for Terminator.

TERMINATOR is a brilliant movie; NAKED GUN is an annoying movie with some laughs. But it looks like this is going the way of BLADE RUNNER and ROAD WARRIOR.

I think folks here have a predisposition against violent SF films in favor of moronic comedies.

I like how we can go apeshit when someone wants to cut David Wright after an 0-for-20, but when a 20-person vote doesn't go the way we expect, we go apeshit. I love you all.

Naked Gun, and it's not even close.

I don't like moronic comedies.

I like good comedies.

Naked Gun is a good comedy.

Naked Gun is funny from start to finish and it includes one of the best baseball sequences ever. I'll take Leslie Neilsen over Arnold Schwarzenegger any day of the week.

Good one Edgy--well played. So yes, I would take any movie ever made over anything starring the Governor of California or Mel Gibson, even though I liked "Running Man."

I had a friend in college who wouldn't watch any James Stewart movies because Jimmy was a Republican who palled around with Ronald Reagan.

Me, I don't worry about the political beliefs of the actors in a movie. I take their performance for what it is.

That's goofy. Among other things, when Stewart palled around with Reagan, Reagan was a Democrat. He was a roommate and a lifelong best friend to Henry Fonda, as lefthanded as they come.

We all need to realize that hating the right sort of people is not advancing any noble cause.

One vote separating the two. Should someone send a robot back to the past to assassinate an ancestor of one of the Naked Gun voters?

HEY! I was messing with AG! And since when does our criteria matter?

I will continue to vote on the merits. Even if it means voting for an anti-Semite like Mel Gibson. OK?

I think we 'mericans can be too brand loyal, to the point we can anchor our self image to a brand. If that hasn't really been you, then great. I think it can be any of us. We get a more interesting and substantial turn out when we look deeper.

How often do you hear variations this exchange in every-day life?

"What do do you think of this song?"

"Who's it by"?
