Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Sometimes they take turns sucking, and sometimes they all suck at the same time.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 And with that, we return to the bullpen sucks days of... last Sunday. Two Sundays in a row, the bullpen has taken victory and literally thrown it away. They tried on Wednesday but couldn't cough up a 8-1 lead, pitched fine for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, but couldn't do their jobs today. None of them.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Thank you Mr Murphy for ending that horrible inning.Nice catch.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Oh man, reruns again?!? They showed this game last Sunday.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 This Braves relief pitcher makes me seasick.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 I'm off to my son's game. For the 2d Sunday in a row, he's going to look at me from the dugout and I'll have to tell him the score via a thumbs down. Ugh.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Distraught. We can only hope that the Brewers continue to suck.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Doesn't help when 1-2 in the lineup put up an 0-10
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 (edited) You see that look Wright gave Gonzales after that curve ball 4?WOOT! Edited September 21, 2008 by Guest

HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 I take some satisfaction at finally hitting this guy.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Unfortunately the Braves understand the value of tack-on runs
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Utley puts the Phils on the board w/a 2 run blast in the 3rd.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 We can only hope that the Cubs are still hungover from their clinching and start their second and third strings.
Guest KC Guests Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Oh well, our cookie crumbles a little more. I'm not sure I want to go throughplayoff games with the way this team plays sometimes this year.Gonzalez a punk or just a whackjob?
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Puking.Absolutely horrible.

Met Hunter Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 April 2009. Somebody gets drilled. Chipper. McCann, Frenchy. Someone. Because I can't stand Gonzalez and his rocking motion. Ronnie seemed like he wished he could deliver that message personally.Notice how he does without the rocking when a man is on base? Bang. Zoom.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 We got exactly what we deserved.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 (edited) Nothing surprising here , just disappointment is what I feel right now. I'm getting in the mind set of the Mets not making it so as to not be hugely disappointed. Edited September 21, 2008 by Guest
