Regardless of what Aaron did there, I think you were right Ben.

Maine should not have started the 7th inning.

Suddenly, we have huge confidence in stretching the bullpen?

Well, I say that with hindsight.

I just think Ben made the right call there.
If I was managing, I would have kept Maine in.
Tho I woulda pulled him after the bomb, not that it ended up mattering.

On edit: and I shouldnt have said regardless..lol. The 2 runs Aaron allowed were bad,..badbadbadbadbad.

Phils get out of the Met threat.
After a double steal by Reyes and Wright, Beltran and Delgado cant gEtErDuN.

There is a countdown clock right now in center. Every single home game, before the start, the Mets bring out someone to remove the previous number. The Shea family did it opening day, Mr. Met did it last night, who did it tonight to move it to 78?

One option, though I don't want to make a living selling it to Mets fans, would have been be to have the Show pitch to Howard.

Why oh why oh why does Randolph love to sacrifice with the meat of the order coming up?

To take the bat out of Wright's hands, of course.

Willie panicked and pooped the bed there, with an assist from Sir Carlos the Younger.

How deflating.

They showed them at the beginning of the SNY broadcast but did not identify them.

Just went to the MLB Press Box page, checked the Game Notes for this afternoon, and turns out they were some reps for the sponsor of the countdown clock.

Check StevieJeets 'Official Countdown' thread.

Gotta distinguish it from any unofficial countdown threads.
