http://www.gilligansisle.com/images/marysweet.jpgSpringsteen may be the boss on stage, but his frame story in the Glory Days video suggests he identifies with laboring relievers. He's chesty like Neil Allen.

I think Mary Ann would wear 36, as well as a captain's "C" on her jersey.

Don Knotts.

See, I don't like going for numbers that symbolize our impression of the guys, but rather what kind of player you'd think they'd be. Ted Knight mightd be a six, because he'd be an old-school corner infielder with Mike Marshall-like puncher's power.

I do kinda like the numbers that symbolize our impression, but I think this would maybe fit both criteria -- or maybe not. I'd give John Denver number 33, for all time Rocky Mountain High-assisted home run leader Larry Walker.

Crazy Eddie.

Jeez, four 4s on a team? Crazy, man.

George gets a 19. It's a good skinny guy's number. I see him as a sidearming swing man.

Paul was already given 64 earlier, so we'll keep that one.

John is #9.

George gets a solid outfielder type number, let's say 21.

Ringo gets a goofy 00.

Bob Dylan
