]Anyone who isn't watching. Leading off the game, Ramirez was hit by a pitch, but the home plate ump did not see it. Now that ball had to hit something, because it never got to Castro, so everyone in the world figured it hit the knob of the bat and was a strike. So when Ramirez walked, we all had him at ball 3. But home plate ump Joe West had him at ball four, because he must have called that pitch a ball. And even though the Mets were not clear on what happened there at the time, Willie did not even step out to question it. And thats all for Glavine, who I don't think was pitching as horrible as this inning indicates, and his day is wasted. Damn.

Ramirez was hit by that pitch, no doubt.
How it was not called a strike.....I have no idea.
The ball never got to Castros glove!
It had to hit something.And it was RIGHT in the strikezone, and Ramirez was leaning over the plate.
It hit him on his wristband, leaving no mark.

I expected Willie to pop out and ask what the hells goin on?

If I was the manager, I would have wanted a detailed description as to what the umpire was doing there, pitch by pitch through that at bat.
